Taking the general public on their first flying lesson, is only part of what we do. Each year we are training a growing number of Microlight pilots from all over Ireland, operating in an informal but safe training environment at our base in Tarsan Lane, near Portadown.

Training takes place in accordance with the UK National Private Pilot License (NPPL) Starting off with basic exercises, students soon progress to taking off and landing, stalling, spiral dives and practice forced landings. Once you are up to standard on all exercises your first solo flight will be the first big milestone, a day that every pilot remembers!

Later, students carry out navigation exercises and their flying test. A series of written multiple-choice tests are required also, with all tests being available on site with our resident examiner. So we can do everything under one roof!

Our training fleet consists of two fabulous Airborne XT912s, which is in our opinion the best Microlight training aircraft in the world. Safe, reliable and manufactured to the highest standards. Our Instructors between them have decades of Microlight flying behind them, and are expert in getting the best from students.

For student and qualified pilots, we have a range of products to choose from.
